The Classic Upgrade Your Vehicle Deserves.
Looking for that iconic “blacked-out” look without breaking the bank? Our Standard Window Tinting service at Kanata Wheels is the perfect entry point for drivers who want to enhance their vehicle’s aesthetics while gaining essential protection from the sun.
In Ottawa, where the summer sun can be intense and winter glare can be distracting, a high-quality standard tint is the most cost-effective way to improve your daily commute.
Why Choose Our Standard Series?
Our standard film offers a premium charcoal finish that complements any vehicle color. It is designed for the driver who prioritizes style and basic functional benefits at an accessible price point.
- Sleek Aesthetic: Give your car, truck, or SUV a custom, high-end look with a variety of shade depths to choose from.
- Effective Glare Reduction: Significantly reduce eye strain caused by the sun and the blinding reflections from snow or other vehicles.
- Privacy and Security: Darker windows keep your valuables hidden from view, providing peace of mind when parked in public spaces across the city.
- Interior Preservation: Block a significant portion of UV rays to slow down the fading of your seats, dashboard, and trim.

After care of your XPEL Prime XR window tint
As window tint film is a water-mounted product it may take up to 2 weeks to dry completely. During this drying period it is completely normal to see a light cloudiness in the film and/or small water bubbles.
It is paramount that you do not roll the newly tinted windows in your vehicle down for 5 days after the window tint has been installed to avoid de-lamination.
When cleaning the inside of your vehicle’s windows you can use a mild soap and water mixture with a soft cloth or micro fiber. Avoid using brushes or any cleaning products that contain abrasives or ammonia. At Kanata Wheels we sell and recommend products for cleaning the interior of windows that have had window tint film.
